NOOO AALLLL MIIINEEE
Just kidding… it’s for my Dad’s birthday! But you’re welcome to come and have a piece?
I wish I could just bake things without eating EVERYTHING as I go. I don’t even know if I can stomach a piece of cake now.
*Pauses*
Who am I kidding.
I totally can.
But seriously, it’s bad enough that we’re covering the chocolate cake with 499g of pure sugar fondant. I just haaaad to eat little pieces as I was rolling it out. Same with the icing. Though I think I gained significant amounts of arm muscle while whipping the sugar and egg whites to make icing. It didn’t even work out that well. After we iced the cake the rest started to separate and we ended pieces of fluff sitting in liquid. It was definitely odd.
Anyway, I need to stop talking about food. It seems like everyone talks about it (myself included). How we eat so much food, how much we love food, how bad it is for us, how we’re trying to not eat all of the things. I think we’re all just looking to make ourselves feel better. Like the fact that I’m eating spoonful after spoonful of soy/pea/sunflower/nut substitute butter is okay because someone else just made brownies.
I eat batter that has raw eggs in it.
I made an epic Grooveshark playlist of everything that is Harry Potter and the greatest hits by John Williams. It is perfect rainy day while baking your father’s birthday cake music. It makes me feel like I’m going on a quest… I will bake this cake of chocolate fantasticalness to utter perfection

Need to hand in my research paper outline tomorrow, with the thesis and main arguments.
I guess it’s time to actually pick a topic.
